Repainted Kitchen

The countertop (eastern) wall of the kitchen. The only thing that has changed here is that yellow bit of wall above the cabinets. Usually the small kitchen appliances are up there; they're removed for this shot to show off the paint better.

More of the same, continuing around the room.

Same as above, but with the appliances back in place.

Ditto.

And continuing around the room.

This is the corner between the living room and great room doors, where the canisters and large spice jars live. Normally there are a couple of small tables in this niche holding the tupperware and such on them, and unopened pop below them.

Just right of the great room doorway. The high chair on the right is an original 60's high chair I found in Salisbury, NC; the chair on the left is a reproduction of the old 60's chair/stepstool. The high chair used to be Kara's prized property, but she's now officially "handed it down" to Hayley and taken over the chair/stepstool, although Hayley's nowhere near ready to use a high chair yet.

Continuation of that corner of the room, to the sliding glass doors to the back yard.

An overly dark picture of the curtains on the sliding glass doors and the hex signs above the doors....hey, why is the left panel lumpy like that?

Because there's a cat tower behind it, silly!

And just to the left of the tower, the Cat Diner (ably shown off by Sarah).

The kitchen rugs reflect the Cat Diner theme......

The storage corner in its normal cluttered state....

....kitchen table, ditto.
